Meet EO, the officially unofficial mascot of Mush. He’s a five-year-old Italian Greyhound with a nearly hairless, blue-hued coat and a distinctive hunched back. Since day one, he’s been an unwavering presence at every meeting, design session, and shipment send-off, offering quiet but undeniable support. Though he can’t vocalize his thoughts, his energy permeates everything we do here at Mush, shaping our work in ways words never could.
The name EO is inspired by the final syllable of the word 'Pistachio.' We simply removed the 'i' and replaced it with an 'e' to create a name that felt as unique as he is. As I’ve mentioned before, EO has an almost hairless body, a result of Alopecia—a condition that’s caused him to lose roughly 85% of his fur. Thankfully, as an Italian Greyhound, he’s no stranger to wearing sweaters, and he actually relishes the warmth and comfort they provide. If you happen to spot him trotting around NYC, feel free to say hello—he thrives on the attention and will be sure to return the love.
